Are Christians Aloof And Do We Cause Atheists Not To Believe In God?

Last night I set up a text box on the front page that allows Atheists to have their say in an attempt to turn me into a non believer.

The first response I received is as follows.

What about innocent fellow humans who mean no harm but have just never heard of the Gospel. THERE ARE PLENTY!!! Atheists don”t hate Christians. It’’s just that some (SOME) perceive them as slightly aloof and even arrogant. It is people like you who make atheists reluctant to believe.

If a human has not heard the Gospel then it’s his own fault for being so stubborn. For if a human wants to hear the word of God he will.

We do not intend to be aloof. I just guess that we are a cut above the rest. This is not because of any inherent qualities in our physical make-up. It is because we have the holy spirit working through us.

I love how this person blames me for their disbelief. Maybe it just goes to show that Atheists have no real excuse for not believing and just want someone to blame as usual.

Anyway if you’re Atheist and want your say, then submit your reason why I should become a non-believer in the text box on the front page. I promise that I’ll read it.

Why Won’t God Heal Amputees – A Response To A Shameless, Godless Website.

I was checking my web stats earlier and found out that a forum full of Godlesses have linked to my blog.

I waded my way through the site, sickened like a puppy choking on a pissy sock full of Oreos by the wanton exhibition of God bashing.

Never in my life had I witnessed such a grotesque perversion of pixels and internet databytes.

Now I want to address this ‘question’ that the ‘Why Won’t God Heal Amputees’ crew seem to find so important.

The easy answer is, do these people have proof that God has never healed an amputee before?

I have faith that God is infinitely powerful and that restoring limbs is well within his capabilities it’s just that he has other priorities.

God would rather spend time working unseen miracles in the heart of men hardened towards Him.

Ask yourself this, what would be a greater miracle? Converting one of those hippy socialists who frequent WWGHA into a respectable human being or regenerating a piece of human tissue?

The former is where the challenge lies and the latter isn’t worth considering in comparison to it.

It wouldn’t be fair if God healed all amputees either. Many innocent victims suffer amputation after a particularly nasty car accident or from a disease like diabetes.

There’s no question that these people deserve to be cured but what about others less deserving?

amputee

How about the trigger happy trailer trash who accidentally blows off half of his lower leg with a sawn off shotgun after stumbling home drunk to find his brother in bed with his sister?

Does he deserve such a gift as a new leg?

Since God is a fair God, he would have to heal both the deserving amputee and the redneck amputee, which is simply out of the question.

Besides if he healed the redneck’s leg, he’d come back home a week later and shoot off his other leg when he finds his mother in bed with his brother.

Why Must Atheists Be So Inconsiderate When Tearing Down Other Peoples Views?

I’ve encountered many Atheists in my time who have mercilessly torn apart the world of humble Christians who were simply out to preach the Word of God and not start a fight.

I’d like to tell you a story about one such incident that left me reeling for quite some time.

I used to work on the streets with this old widow called Margaret and we’d hand out cups of coffee to drunken revelers as they left the bar.

christian-bar

This one young man came out of the tavern, walked past Margaret and as he did, she kindly handed him a pamphlet about God.

What followed has haunted me for quite some time.

It turns out that the guy was an Atheist who lived on the same block in downtown Madison many years back.

He’d heard about the passing of Margaret’s husband just recently and began mocking her with cruel comments.

‘Marge! There’s no such thing as God. Your husbands gone forever! He’s dead as a f***** door nail. You’ll never see him ever again!”

As he said this Margaret dropped the cup of coffee she was holding, looked to the ground and became inconsolable.

Far from coming to her aid, the Atheist continued his cruel taunts, dancing around like a chimp on heat, grimacing with a depraved sex face that only a bad ape could muster.

‘God doesn’t care because He’s not there. Face it you’re alone now and you’ll be alone forever. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person, Marge!’

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, the Atheist dropped his pants and wavered his buttocks over Margaret’s head like two ungodly hoods of flesh.

He then blasted out a superhuman emission that just sent shivers down my spine.

We stood there shellshocked by what had just happened. The smell of the fart didn’t even effect us that much as we were so focused on trying to make sense of it all.

Marge died soon after that. We don’t know if it was the grief of losing her husband so early, the cruel taunts of the Atheist or worse of all – his gaseous ‘revelation’ that cost Marge her life.

Maybe it was a combination of all three.

Atheists Always Focus On The Negatives Of Religion, So Why Shouldn’t We Focus On The Negatives Of Atheism?

If you’ve tried witnessing to Atheists in the past, you’ll know that they are often equipped with encyclopedic knowledge of all of the atrocities and massacres that so-called Christians perpetuated over the years.

The Inquisition, The Crusades and Northern Ireland are 3 examples that come up time after time.

You’ll rarely see a Christian who has a balanced outlook on religion. He is drawn to the negatives like a bug towards shit, yet he’s perceived as the rational one!

Most Atheists are too proud to concede that religion serves any purpose at all other than to warp the minds of the young and to influence terrorist attacks.

What a bunch of garbage!

Atheists have a dark history too. Look at early 20th century Russia. The Cambodian Killing fields. Secularists advocating the mass slaughter of unborn Children.

All of these can be used against the Atheist but as Christians we’re more mature than that. We know that no-one is perfect.

We also understand that rationality and impartiality are two virtues that should be put to use whenever we’ve trying to come to a consensus on something important.

We can see that whilst Atheism has been responsible for some of the worst atrocities on the planet, that it has merits too.

It’s just a pity Secularists don’t have the capacity to be so open minded.

pol-pot-khmer-rouge

It’s a pity Secularists don’t have the capacity to be truly compassionate either.

Atheists Need To Understand That Preaching Is Not The Same As Brainwashing.

Dawkins has made his disdain about the ‘indoctrination’ of youngsters crystal clear. What he fails to understand is that children are intelligent and have been given a free will by God, to choose every the right or wrong path in life.

evil-hypnotism

There’s nothing wrong with providing him with some instructions that he will find helpful on his journey through life. At no point do we threaten him with his life! Christianity isn’t a violent belief system like Communism, the bastard spawn of Secularism, which may people have died at the hands of after they opposed the hate machine..

Also, Atheists shouldn’t trivialize the role that the Church plays in adolocent peoples lives.

Whilst Emo and Goth music are urging these young people to kill themselves, the Church is ready to lend an ear to anyone in need without judgment. We understand that the only person fit to judge in the end is God and we’ll leave it to Him and Him alone.

Atheists Need To Stop Victimizing Individual Christians Like Rick Warren And Alister McGrath

I understand that Atheists disagree with our beliefs. I understand that they feel aggreived for the persecution they’ve endured in Western Society in recent years.

What I can’t understand is their insistence on targetting intellectual figureheads in the Christian community who are willing to debate with them, but are continually pushed back and mocked by the Atheists.

This is why I hate New Atheism so much. It’s become about personal insults and trying to destroy your opponent in an argument. If Atheists really believe that there is nothing after death, why can’t they just surrender to peace and understanding and attempt to change Christian thought through constructive debate?

alister-mcgrath

It’s when we’re belittled by these snobs that we feel we need to retaliate. Every time I hear an Atheist deny Jesus I redouble my efforts to become a better Christian. One who will devout every waking moment of his life to saving as many lost souls as possible.

How Can Atheists Say That Religion Is Just About The Fear Of Death?

Don’t Atheists understand that religion is the celebration of life and the redemption we’ve received through Jesus Christ?

god-creation

As Christians we do not fear death. We understand that we’ve repented for our sins and have therefore been saved through Christ alone. I admit that it’s not enough to simply trust in Jesus, it’s important for us to live a righteous life too by following God’s word as closely as we can.

Whenever Atheists say that religion is about the fear of death they are mocking our faith.

To them faith is blind, but to me it has opened to my eyes to the Wonder of Creation.

God has loving reserved Mankind’s place at the top of creation so that we can look down and admire that which He has created for us.

Should Christians Waste Time Trying To Convert Atheists or Agnostics?

I’ve lost all patience with both the Atheists I come into contact in my every day life as well as the ones who post comments on this blog.

It seems as if I could spend an eternity trying to convince these people of the reality of God, but every time I produce a bullet proof argument, it’s ignored as if it was never made.

bible-is-truth

Life is too short to be wasted on non-believers who can’t handle the truth. I’ve tried so hard to win you all over but you just mock me incessantly because I have a different opinion than you.

If I was a stronger man I’d continue to preach the Gospel but I’m starting to lose the will right now. Every time I think about it I can feel my faith wavering.

I think from now on I need to spend more time focusing on God and less on Atheists who are just out to persecute Christians like me. :(

If Jesus Christ Isn’t God, Then How Come So Many Atheists Take His Name In Vain?

I’m sure you’ve heard plenty of Atheists using God’s name in vain on many an occasion. This vile practice is even overlooked in the office where it’s essentially become a much-loved ritual.

Yet I find myself thinking, if Atheists really don’t believe Jesus Christ ever existed, then why do they use His and God’s name in vain so much? You’d think that they could use other words to express their disgust!

jesus-with-the-sheep

Why don’t they ever mock Buddha or Muhammed? Why does it ALWAYS have to be Jesus?

I’ll tell you why it’s this way – Satan is manipulating Atheists without their knowledge. He is using them to demean the Holy Name of Christ in the most vulgar of ways. Satan knows Jesus is God and this irritates him more than anything which is why he’ll try to tempt his children into sinning against Him more and more regularly.

So if you’re an Atheist and swear a lot, I challenge you to consider your motives next time you let a cuss word out. Think about the effect it is having on Jesus in Heaven right now. It’s the least you can do to try to save your soul..

Why Christians Believe That Human Beings Are Different From Other Animals..

Humans aren’t animals. Animals do not have the capacity to recognize God in all His glory. Animals do not have a thorough understanding of how the world works. Animals are violent, ugly monsters with no concept of morality. Many of them would happily rip your head off and crap down your fat dead throat without even thinking about what’s for fucking brunch.

true-ape-hai-lol

Atheists are intent on forcing us to believe that we’re identical in nature to animals, that in fact we’re closely related to apes. If that is so, how come we don’t see chimps reading the Bible? How come we don’t see Gorillas taking communion?

We’re distinct from animals through our ability to recognize Christ Jesus as Savior. If He had wanted animals in Heaven with him, he’d have given them the ability to read as humans can.

This is indisputable wisdom that Science would pencil in as fact if they had the decency, integrity and most importantly – intelligence to know the World as it is.
