I don’t like abortion either but to say it’s always wrong is going too far. You’re acting all high and mighty and telling people what to do.
Admittedly, there are some messed-up people who get several abortions because they can’t figure out birth control, but there are others who become impregnated outside of their control, and it’s completely unfair to force them to bring an unsupportable child into the world.
And you’ve got to realize that abortions will happen no matter what you do. If it becomes illegal, people are still going to take coat-hangers to alleyways and it’ll get a lot uglier than an abortion clinic.

I once heard about a heartbreaking story about a 10-yr-old girl was raped, and became pregnant. Having a child at that age was dangerous to both mother and baby, so she had an abortion.
In my opinion, that was the best choice for this girl.
Besides, Mandat is right. People would still get abortions even if it was illegal, they’d just be more dangerous.

I would point out that abortion “kills” (thats in quotes for a reason, technically fetuses do not carry out the actions of life and so are not alive hence kill is a misnomer) a fetus, or more usually a zygote, definitely not a baby.

It was relatively common when abortion was illegal. A large number of women died or became infertile performing self-abortions with things like coat hangers or going to illegitimate doctors who performed similarly barbaric operations. All of this because of their desperation to get rid of (read: inability to care for) an unborn baby.
Based on the tone of the OP’s post I’d say they’re trolling, though. If they actually believe that God gives them the right to tell others how to live their life then I’m quite sure they’ll find themselves perpetually surprised by how little people heed their advice.

People would kill their baby (even with a coat hangar) if they could not afford to take care of it, if it endangered its or its mother’s lives, if it would be unwanted, if it had a birth defect or genetic problem, etc. Also, that saying is not always accurate. How is me spitting on a sidewalk going to affect me later? This is kinda sad. When an argumeng resorts to all-out name calling (”tit wanker” and “stupid bitch” to name a few) you know that all hope is lost.

I would say i agree almost exactly with the quoted view presented, i am by no means a fan of abortion, but accept that we have no right to deny women the choice. This view is widely shared by what i would say are the majority of people, be they atheist, christian, muslim or other.
Quite frankly, i think your response to the view is disgusting. You claim to be somehow superior to everyone else because you believe in god, and think you have the right to speak for all other followers of our faith? 1. You assume while providing no evidence (None exists. Feel free to prove me wrong) that your conception of god exists.
2. Given that some god exists, you assert without proof that you are a specially aware of his will, more so then other people.
3. If the bible is your holy book, such a stance is inherently prohibited, making you a hypocrite.
