Atheist Is Sad To Be Discriminated Against And Admits You Cannot Believe In Satan And Not God.
I will start out by saying that to me Christianity has some good concepts. It is especially motivational. That’s probably one reason we have the technology we have today. Whether things where invented by believers or as a result of opposition to belief, we all get the benefits.
That said, I will not even claim I know much about the bible. What I do know is that people I grew up with that where supposedly Christian did not act like Christians in the way that I understand the religion to be. I saw very little good.
I tried really hard for a long time to believe in god. I didn’t have a bible and figured if god cared he would reach me somehow. Well that didn’t happen.
In fact gods lack of assistance in my life was pushing me in the other direction. I was starting to think about worshiping the devil to see if that would work.
I finally just called all of it silliness. You can’t believe in satan and not god. And the other way around. You have to do away with them all and trust what can be observed. It makes me sad to be discriminated against. What is even worse is that to me this is the only time I have to live. At least you have heaven. I want to enjoy my life as best I can.
I guess Christians think the big bang is silly. I think if God can pop in to exsistance, why can’t the universe?
How would god have thoughts and feelings and motivations existing in a universe that was empty before he created everything? How is zero stimuli a motivation to create?
I’m sorry to hear that you had some negative experiences with Christians. I wouldn’t let it sour you off the belief system for life though.
You can enjoy your life to the best you can and have God. It’s the greatest misconception ever that you can’t have both.
Have you ever thought that maybe God is the Universe? I’m only asking.

no god is not the universe because he supposedly created the universe
the universe is just the universe and god is just nonexistant
There have been lots of definitions for “God(s)”. We usually are talking about the Abrahamic notion of, so we don’t bother defining what we mean. Yes, a person could think of the universe as god and show reverence for the universe and nature…but then why not just use the word “universe” instead of “god”?
And you CAN believe in Satan and not God. You can believe in whatever you want. What people
believe has no affect on what is.
Yes, you can have a happy fulfilling life and believe in God. You can have a happy fulfilling life without believing in God too.
Universe != God
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
The belief that God is the universe is closer to Pantheism than Christianity.
By your own Theodicies, Augustinian and Aquinan, the cosmological argument states that everything must have a cause, this is because nothing can cause its own existence. Syllogically, as the Bible states that the universe was created, and because of the stipulations of the Christian Cosomological Argument, it cannot have created itself, then God cannot possibly be the universe.
Can God create a rock too heavy for Him to carry?
you can believe in one and not the other. and to me the big bang theory is very possible, and soon ther might even be proof of it, and where is the proof of god? oh wait, THER IS NONE!
Why does a lot of Humanity ‘believe’ in a God. Simply because they were born into it. Like any drug, it’s difficult to dispense with. The cure is to think in a logical manner.
This mind of ours is capable of absorbing any delusion. The separation of fact from transcendental ramblings is only a matter of using ‘common sense’.
It’s quite obvious that Man brought into ‘being’ all of the Gods that populate the minds of the shallow thinkers of our society.
The generation of laws of reasonable behaviour have evolved with everything else. The need to consult Biblical, Koranic or any other ancient crap-laden fairy tales in order to pursue a decent & considerate existence beggars belief.
Any thinking person realises that the Universe is truly an awesome Quantum / Astronomical creation. Whether probing the Atom or ‘Heavenly’ Space, we’re contemplating INFINITIES.
Humanity will never be able to understand the complexity of it all. However, even near extinction, this curious mind of ours will still be trying.
Fouling up our minds with a rag-bag of archaic religiose twaddle does absolutely nothing to enlighten our ignorance!
