I don’t understand why this guy is so angry. I’ve posted his entire rant in full just so that you can attempt to make sense of it.

What is interesting is how venomous religion is becoming; wars are indeed started from the religious, lets look at 911 all conspiracy’s aside. We have a group of extremists who fly planes into buildings, expecting a reward of virgins for doing their duty according to there specific religion.

Then we have a president of the most powerful country on the planet. Using god as an excuse to attack a small country in retaliation, when he should have been looking for the perpetrators of the crime. For what end.. Oil.

All through written history Christianity has asserted itself as the authority as to what god wants, or thinks. Based on a book, written by primitive misogynistic goat herders, living in tents. To control a society and women. Mostly because they could not get a date, most women would not want to go out with a man that smelled of goat dung.

Now with over ten thousand religions on this planet all professing, that they are paying servitude to the one true god, and not one of them agreeing as to what god is or wants.

I would say that none of them knows what god is. Or are completely lying for god.

No one knows what god wants for he seems to not communicate with the humans he supposedly created.

Now we move into the twenty first century and are able to reason. I hope people don’t stone women for not being a virgin on their wedding night.

Or hope to produce stripes on animals by showing a female and male animal striped patterns. I hate to say this but the Chinese have been recording the weather for over 10thousand years and they never mention anything of a flood. Or a funny looking star that appeared out of no where on a specified date.

No where in roman history did they ever record the execution of a man named Jesus.

I think it was Philo who had that nasty job of writing down who was executed on a day to day bases.

And then there is the problem of Adam and Eve, well, its just impossible to perpetuate the human species from only two. Believe what you like but in the end, its all about fear of the unknown.

You’re right about religion being about the fear of the unknown. Aren’t you afraid of being wrong and ending up in Hell with Satan forever? The only obvious decision is to trust in Jesus so that you can gain eternal life.

Other religions may be becoming venomous but Christianity is exactly the same as it always has been. Why? Well Jesus hasn’t changed. His promise remains. True followers of Christ will remain the same.

Of course there are some bad eggs who will attempt to demean the name of Christ. There’s nothing we can do about this.
