yeah god exists, and according to Muslim terrorists he thinks that if you blow yourself up in retaliation against another peoples god that you’ll go to his heaven with many a virgins. you know i think id rather take that god over your god since his benefits seem that much better.

trust me, i have read the bible. i just about died of laughter half way through the old testament. the story of noah is simply a slap in the face of logic and reasoning. so god created the rainbow after the flood to seal a covenant with noah that he will never destroy the world by flood again. so… your saying up until the flood light did not refract? not to mention the shear lunacy of the notion that an elderly man and his family gathered two of every animal or that noah and his family were the ONLY good people on the ENTIRE planet and that EVERYONE else deserved to die. even pregnant women? even new born babies? but wait! i thought abortion was bad? but its ok for god to kill them?

our agnostic friend does not dislike certainties per se, it is merely that he does not feel he has enough evidence to commit to one particular idea.
by the way agnostic person, what you are referring to is the ‘god of the gaps’ where we call what we don’t understand god, of course as we come to understand so the gaps shrink and god becomes lesser.
