How in the world could you ever possibly believe this sentence tells of an almighty God that exists in perfect love. This view of God is no better than man(even though I sure do know a lot of great humans who would never, ever, think about sending their children, no matter what they could ever possibly do, to suffer so harshly for all of eternity) and sickens me. Also something I have been wondering for awhile, if Jesus died to “save our sins” what the hell ever happend to that? We all are still told we commit sins and we still get sent to hell by our loving savior to pay for these sins and there is still death, poverty, war, and hate, so what exactly did Jesus save?!?!? Now I am no atheist (although for a brief period in my life, thanks to Christianity, I was, thankfully I saw an even brighter light), but believe me, I will never, ever go back to the fear mongering, hatred-filled piss poor excuse for a religion called Christianity again. I have learned to embrace God in the greatness “he” really resides in, and oh my it is so much more beautiful, perfect, loving, and balanced than the God you get on your knees for and praise till the end of time. God would never make us do something like that, we make ourselves do that with our disillusioned egos that are filled with hate. But in the end all of this is okay, because the universe and God is just a game of balance, we need the darkness to reach the light, we need low, unhappy and challenging moments so we can raise up into a higher, more perfected state of being with God. So in conclusion, please stop confusing what God really is, to what the visiting extra terrestrials from Earth’s ancient past proclaimed themselves to be. Even if this was a compleltly satirical blog, I still think that many of the points I tried to make should be taken into consideration. You can believe in God without being a Christian, most of the ancient Gods in the spiritual texts were aliens (look up Ancient Astronaut Theory, there’s an overwhelming amount of evidence), and we are not the lowly, unworthy pieces of shit Christianity calls us, rather we are millions of pieces that make up a perfect God that is much grander than our current conscious levels can comprehend(although it is possibly to raise our consciousness and embrace it).

I was born a christian went to a christian school until the church told my mother she was unclean because she had two handicap children (not me). They told my father that it was because my mom had sinned and she needed to ask forgivness from god. She was made to feel like a sinner. It almost broke our family up. My mom was excommunicated because she couldnt understand what sin she had committed and needed to ask forgivness for. My Mom is an earth angel

This is why i’m now an athiest. I reject the claim that once a christian always a christian its just complete shit. I live my life by christian type rules but leave all the other crap out. Try it. You can do cool stuff on Sundays too.

I find it very paradox that you, being a good Christian, are this intolerant. Thinking of all the truly disgusting deeds, the leaders of christianity have committed, I feel truly sorry for your kind. That you can be so blind as to trust a book, written by man, just to explain some very uninteresting events…I do not believe your god, nor others of the kind. Adults with imaginary friends…are stupid! Considering that even the greatest scientists ever known to mankind had to bow before the image of a non-existing fictional character, I truly become enraged. I was born into a Christian home, but despise the idea of bowing infront of some novel protagonist who was apparently given birth to by a virgin. Yeah right, you people are so naive. Maria was married, so who the hell believes that she was still a virgin? Well I don’t. Get your head out of the dark place where it’s stuck and wake up, you sick bunch of pathetic people! Dude, I’m a christian, and at the moment, I’m starting to hate Christians. If other people don’t want to believe, then that is their right, their GOD GIVEN right. If our gods love is infinite (and I have no doubt that it is) then he’ll accept all his children, no matter what there choices.

To come back to your precious scriptures, it is Quoted that Jesus loves us all and says forgiveness is required to live a valued life, however you are saying jesus doesn’t posess this as he would mock dawkins, this is a contridiction on your part and on your precious bible, eye for a eye: turn the other cheek, God commands war: thou who live by the sword dies by the sword. i know your argument will be that the new testament is a improvment, but if you set your moral compass by this divine power surely he shouldnt change his mind half way through, that isn’t a all knowing God as surly he would of seen the limitations of his first ordrs and moved straight to the ones jesus says, my opinions are backed up by empirical evidence yoursis based on a fictious book which has spawned the biggest cult in all of history and whos aimis to quash human nature its self, you are told to accept was is said in the bible without question due to a fictious reward, where is the logic in this?
