Is God A Sadistic Narcicist Because He Allows Rape, Murder And Suffering To Happen To Good People?

This atheist believes that God is a sadistic narcissist.

god-suffering

An omniscient and omnipotent being, upon creating the universe, would know exactly how what it created would turn out and in what way that conclusion would be reached. This means that, if you believe in this type of deity, free will does not exist. Hence all things good or bad are it’s fault. Why would a benevolent being create rape, murder or suffering in general? It cannot be described as a test, as the being already knows with certainty who would pass and who wouldn’t. Why would it create ‘evil’ beings? And, if it would why on Earth would choose to worship such a sadistic narcicist?

God did not create rape, murder or suffering! All of these are evil tools of the Devil designed to turn good people away from God my friend.

It was not God’s intention for any of this to happen. He is not a sadistic narcissist.

He loves you!

if god created all things then surely he created the devil and so indirectly all the bad stuff

free will cannot exist due to the total observed theory, i.e. if you knew where every particle in the universe was, their energy and trajectory then you could predict the future. seeing as the future can in theory (although not in practise) be predicted then there can be no free will.

i’m pretty sure that if god does not exist he doesn’t love me, i’m sure he finds me quite irritating.

if this stuff was not gods intention but he is being owned by the devil then surely he is a little bit rubbish

if god is as powerful as you say he is then why would he allow things such as rape and murder to happen in the first place? obviously the devil is alot more powerful than he is, but if god created everything, then why did he create the devil??

God is either less powerful than the devil, or he allows the devil to continue hurting good people of his own free will. There is no other possible answer. If the devil was more powerful than god, he would have banished/smited/slain god by now, so the only possible answer is that god allows cruel things to happen to good people.

Whoever it is that posts pro-religious messages at the end of every italisized pararaph, i feel sorry for you. You cling to the bible because you have a psychological need to believe in a higher power. Over time, humans have evolved to believe in a higher power because the ones that banded together tended to live longer in the past. But nowadays, most people still cling to their outdated ideas becasue they don’t understand that pure instinct, the result of evoltuion, makes it hard for them to let go of a god.
