The atheist bus campaign was created in a much more pleasent and far less offensive backlash against an antiatheist hate campaign. I forget the actual story, but a journalist discovered that a london bus advert was previously used to link viewers to a website telling them that all atheists would burn in hell for their sins. The atheist campaign was launched in a much less violent and aggressive way. Maybe if you researched these things before posting a bunch of statements that can be proven to be lies made up on the spot, you may be taken more seriously.

Also, out of interest, is this a parody or serious. I honestly don’t know. I use this site daily for huge laughs anyway, great stuff. If this is really just a parody, you should seriously try moving into proffessional comedy. Truely funny stuff.

I am also starting to wonder if this site is just a prank. Although, I have actually spoken to people in person who resort to such silly statements as “just look at the trees. That’s all the proof I need” and “your god stephen hawking”.

Your friend got fired for not being on time for work. Actions have consequences, and he chose to walk the 10 miles to work just because he was offended by a sign. Boohoo. Cry me a river. He made the choice, not the sign nor the atheists. I think if we’ve learned to stomach all of the religious signs we see, Christians can be able to tolerate a few signs here and there.

Freedom of religion is NOT freedom from being offended.
And the true test of free speech is when someone might be offended.

Its a little thing called free speech. If some theist put up a message like “Theres definately a god, so worry” no atheist would complain. the fact that your friend was fired was not dawkins fault. Blaming Dawkins is like blaming misspelt words on a pencil.
