Should Christians Waste Time Trying To Convert Atheists or Agnostics?
Comments(8) I’ve lost all patience with both the Atheists I come into contact in my every day life as well as the ones who post comments on this blog.
It seems as if I could spend an eternity trying to convince these people of the reality of God, but every time I produce a bullet proof argument, it’s ignored as if it was never made.
Life is too short to be wasted on non-believers who can’t handle the truth. I’ve tried so hard to win you all over but you just mock me incessantly because I have a different opinion than you.
If I was a stronger man I’d continue to preach the Gospel but I’m starting to lose the will right now. Every time I think about it I can feel my faith wavering.
I think from now on I need to spend more time focusing on God and less on Atheists who are just out to persecute Christians like me. 
could you please send me a list of “bullet proof” arguments that i have not appropriately rebuffed and driven into the ground so that i can at once do so.

Please make my name and e-mail anonymous. I do not want athests jumping on me. I have been in forums before and it has been my experiance that athists are some of the meanest, most caustic, hatful, spitful, mockers, & negative I have argued with on the planet.
You cannot get anywhere with them, nor be allowed to carry on a normal conversation. If you do not agree to their god of atheism and evolutionism you will be attacked from all sides. Ironically they think they are winning but in reality they make themselves look pretty bad. Who would want to be an athist with all of their misery?

Atheists trot out the same old arguments time after time; what about evolution? What about ‘The Big Bang’? What about the inconsistencies in the Bible? What about the violence, misogyny and sex in the Old Testament?
It tires a man after a while, if only we had some means of showing them the Truth of God for which they have not prepared an counter argument! These Atheists do not realise that the next chance they get won’t be a chance because Jesus will return and slaughter them all. I feel bad about their not listening.
Agnostics are weird, they know God exists yet pretend that He doesn’t. They only do this to appear “Hip”. They have no idea how dangerous this is.
Please Mr Kroner, make some effort to save these lost souls! There are simply not enough of us who know the warm blood of The Lamb of Calvary.
i don’t think i have ever in my comments on this site used any of your mentioned arguments. i do apologize if i have appeared discourteous. i find Mr kroner to be a rather horrible excuse for a human being and my emotions get the best of me. (i refer you to his exhuming his dead dog in order to prove to his children that it had not gone to heaven)
my main complaint as an anti-theist is the existence of religion, not the existence of god. i find the existence of god to be so obviously untrue that i do not consider it in my arguments.
you say i am not a nice man and yet you then say that jesus will slaughter me and all other right minded people
what does this have to do with sheep and horses?

Very well Buck, what is your rebuttal to evolution and he Big Bang and the inconsistencies in he bible?
Sadly Julia, most fundamentalists I have tried arguing with dismiss a priori all facts and evidence that challenge their worldview. In other words, they start with “everything in the Bible must necessarily be true” and “everything that challenges the Bible must necessarily be false”. When asked why they think the Bible must be true, they resort to circular arguments. They use what they need to prove to prove itself.
I’m not really sure why creationists like to say “god of atheism and evolution”. Atheists don’t believe in god, and evolution is fact-based science, which has nothing to do with the question of God’s existence.
Now for this perception that atheists are so mean. Certainly, anyone is capable of being obnoxious on forums, but could it be that creationists just prefer noticing it more when an atheist is guilty of being overy mean? Also, people tend to be a little thin-skinned when their worldview is being challenged. I don’t consider logical arguments to be offensive. If you feel they are, that’s probably just your brain setting up a defense against a perceived threat. A threat against against untrue beliefs.
Lastly, the threat of hell doesn’t work. We don’t believe in it. It’s about as silly as threatening that pink unicorns will come skewer us tomorrow. Pascal’s Wager as well has been rebutted many times by many people.
